With artists exploiting the viral potential of the internet, it is becoming easier and easier for bedroom producers to explode overnight. Take Flaxo, for example. The upstart New Yorker took early 2013 by storm with back-to-back monster remixes of Kendrick Lamar‘s “Swimming Pools” and Rihanna‘s “Diamonds” that pushed him to the forefront of the growing “stadium trap” subgenre. Nearly 10 months later, we get a taste of that same raunchy sound, just in time for Halloween.

“Too Much” was one of the first Drake tracks we heard off Nothing Was The Same, debuting over a week before the album release on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. The silken keys and vocals of Sampha remain intact, juxtaposed brilliantly with a grimy, bass-brimmed drop that is sure to light up any Halloween festivities. Throw in solid bars-distorted and powerful-and Flaxo has cooked up an edit that is sure to stand out amongst the flood of Drake remixes to hit the web already.

Subwoofers recommended.
