The term “sneaker head” and sneaker culture as a whole is one that people are easy to draw an association towards or claim to be apart of but at it’s core, sneaker culture is in a world of its own. A world where people amass shoe collections that are equivalent to a downpayment on a house. One of these sneaker heads is budding Bronx rapper Jae Tips. He has merged his love for both fashion, mainly kicks and music. Finding himself referencing the struggles and sacrifices one has to make in life to reach their goals with his latest viusal “Sold My Yeezys”. Yeezys which are the iconic Nike collaboration with Kanye West are coveted in the fashion and sneaker circles.

Jae describes having to sell his pair to finance his musical venture. The song is off of his latest project South of Houston. The track is produced by Big Bank Dizz and samples The Weeknd’s “Next” single.
