With the success of his State of Trance Podcast and the chart-topping productions he cranked out this year it’s no surprise that Armin took the coveted #1 DJ in World spot yet again. If you’re in LA be sure to catch him this weekend at Monster Massive.

It’s that time again to vote for your favorite Trance DJ in DJ Mag’s top 100 DJs for 2009. I personally don’t have anything against Trance, in fact I play Trance sometimes, but it would be nice to see a non-Trance DJ win this thing for once. Anyone want to coordinate a DanceMusicBlog top 100 DJ list? Maybe come up with a proprietary algorithm that would take user votes and survey questions and magically come up with a list that took skill, track selection, and all that stuff into account. No? Eh, well it’ll just have to remain my fantasy.
