While not busy masterminding the soundtrack to the recent Baz Luhrmann remake of The Great Gatsby and director of his spaghetti western, They Die by Dawn, the jack of all trades artists is gearing up to release his debut album/soundtrack.
With the release date approaching the , the blunt and morbidly titled “Murder Death Kill” has surfaced. The self-produced number finds the two creative minds collaborating once again for a track off The Bullitt’s forthcoming album. Rife with Samuel’s signature cinematic production touches, complemented by tribal drumming and a western edge, Jay Electronica traverse the cinematic scoundscape effortlessly.
