19-year-old Myles Shear, aka Nexus, never fails to surprise me. His music collection ranges from hip hop beats, to electro house, all the way down to deep house. On his latest release we see a much more funkier and groovier side to the young producer. Myles gave me a breakdown of the new track and where he stands as an artist.
“I always try to evolve my sound by what inspires me so this isn’t really a huge turn for me. I hope my music will continue to expand as I grow as an artist. Who knows what I’ll be producing in the years to come, but for right now I’m really feeling tracks like “Vintage” and I can’t wait to share my EP with you guys, which will feature a similar sound. In the months to come, I’ll be working on a live set which will set me apart from the standard. Stay tuned!”
