Out of all the ways to introduce a music video and convince your audience that the next two or three minutes are going to be worth watching/listening to, choosing to begin with a snippet from childhood classic Kenan & Kel is always going to stand you in good stead; consequently, Vic Mensa becomes immediately likeable. His seemingly effortless style, along with a chilled beat that is sure to evoke 90’s nostalgia, concocts a recipe that would readily lend itself any summer playlist.

Coming out of the same Chicago Save Money collective that gave us Chance The Rapper, we won’t be mistaken for expecting big things from their latest artist. If the remarkably fast rise to prominence of Chance’s Acid Rap mixtape is anything to go by, big things are what we’re likely to get. This marks the second video release off of his forthcoming project entitled INNANETAPE, unfortunately there is no release date as of yet but what we have for now is more than convincing.

I’m not sure about Kel’s stance on Mary Jane, but It’s safe to say Vic shares his enthusiasm for his favourite orange drink. After giving this one a few plays, I think we’ll all be agreeable to a little “Orange Soda”.
