An upcoming duo from New York City, Filtercrush has been on point lately with two top 40 remixes of Bruno Mars “When I Was Your Man” and Rihanna’s “Stay.” While Krewella’s song “Play Hard” maybe a little dated, this duo brings it back to life taking on a new form and style. The pair combines uplifting melodies with a progressive and big room undertone which truly transforms the electro – dubstep original into a more mellow and harmonious track.

Coming off a hot release with Toby Green, Fong gives us a free download of a hip hop inspired track called “Stand Up,” infusing elements of electro house and trap together. While the track maybe simple in its composition and structure, it definitely is an energetic and uplifting one. I’m looking forward to seeing what this rising star has in store for us next.

One of the biggest upcoming duos to date, Willem & Ward just keep the hot streak going adding a new track to their repertoire that is “Thunder.” Touching on genres of trance, progressive house, and big room, they allow for a harmonious and melodic breakdown consisting of trancey chords which lead into a euphoric build up and a signature W&W big room drop.
