I always get a buzz when I come across a new artist that I really like, and this is exactly what happened when I stumbled upon this gem. Donny Oh is a 16 year old rapper from Brooklyn, New York, who’s track “Bag Fries” really caught my attention. The first thing that grabbed me, was his flow. For someone who’s only 16 years of age, he spits like a vetran, making me draw comparisons with the likes of fellow New York rappers Nas and Joey Bada$$. The beat he’s chosen to rap over, is a dope one too. It’s the instrumental of “Basics” by Dilated Peoples, with some nice horn samples over a kickin’ beat that’s sure to have you nodding your head.
If Donny Oh keeps bringing out tracks that go as hard as this, we could have a real problem on our hands. Keep your eyes and ears peeled for any future material by this dude.
