With 20 years experience of production behind him and with the success of both of his labels Perspectiv Records and TamedHeadless Ghost (which is the alias of Ripperton) is here with a new EP that is completely devoted to hardware and full analogue recordings. With such a technical background it is not surprising that the producer is able to create clean mixes and use these techniques to release ambitious and conceptual music.

The EP opens up with “11”, a lighter offering than the forth coming tracks and has Headless Ghost showing off his studio expertise. The second offering is “22”, which is built around some harsher sounds and has a much darker feel, all held together with a rich walking sub bass. The EP is rounded off with a ten-minute behemoth of energetic riffs and silky synths showing a clear head for melodies.

The 77 EP is the second release in a trilogy from the producer and has been developed with the intention of being played live with matching improvised visuals from Aiko and is available late November through Tamed Musiq.
