Johnny Castro, one half of the electronic duo Parachute Youth, has embarked on a new musical endeavor. His latest project Yeah Boy will see a different side of Johnny and his childhood friend Stefan Abingdon. He remarks, “I think going more hip hop/soulful, which is where I started in the first place. Parachute Youth has a distinct sound and we push that sound to define who we are as a band, I’m ready to do the same with Yeah Boy, which explores my inner love for experimental hip hop/soul.”

Yeah Boy’s first release “Can’t Get Enough” dropped back in the beginning of October via Baked Goods and demonstrated their ability to capture those feel-good summer vibes and blissful melodies. Both infectious and funky the single put the duo on our radar and today we have the equally refreshing music video from the pair. Directed and Animated by Kyle Cogan, the sultry lyric video, features images of a female figure moving under water. As the music ebbs and flows, the colors and images do so accordingly. The video is just as enticing as the single and we must admit we can’t get enough of Yeah Boy. Stay tuned for their debut EP set to follow sometime soon.
