The recent resurgence of hip hop artists using beats crafted by EDM artists seems to be growing. There have been quite a few collaborations of that nature this year, from A$AP Rocky and Skrillex teaming up for “Wild For The Night” to Hudson Mohawke and Kanye West creating “Blood On The Leaves”, the crossover has proven to be highly successful.

MMG‘s youngest member, Rockie Fresh, dropped a dope freestyle over a beat that was cooked up by one half of TNGHT, Lunice. Rockie goes in with a slick flow that has seen him being heralded as one of hip-hop’s rising stars whilst Lunice has provided the track with a healthy dose of 808 kicks and he also placed some outlandish, disjointed synth lines on top that have those typical TNGHT-like vibes.

Rockie and Lunice hit the road together as part of the Red Bull Music Academy Tour Club Tour, hitting up cities including San Francisco and Seattle. For full details on the tour, visit the Red Bull Music Academy website.
