Kelpe‘s album, Fourth: The Golden Eagle, was critically acclaimed and beautifully received by the world when it was released earlier this year in June. Experimentally pushing boundaries and conveying a complex whirl of emotions, the album was a favorite by fans and fellow producers everywhere.

The London producer will come out with a remix version of the album come November 4th. With artists both veteran and upcoming, it’s an all-star release of who’s hot in the production world this year. Today we have the opportunity to premiere one of the tracks, “Superzero Theme,” and the remix done by Chop

The original version held a hip hop influenced beat, as swirls of electronic beats flooded in and took over the track. There is something intrinsically light-hearted about it, and theme seems accurate for a track with such an obvious 8-bit influence. The remix however, took “Superzero Theme” and completely flipped it. Now much darker than the original, Chop really takes into consideration his name as he creates an electronic version of the chop and screw (well, to an extent anyways). If this remix is of any indication, the remix album will be filled with amazing tracks that will bring life back into the album we fell in love with over the summer.

The remix album is available digitally and on vinyl via bandcamp.
