Although the LA-based duo Classixx proved their production skills reach further than bubbling remixes with their debut LP Hanging Gardens early this year, it’s still a treat to receive one of their infectious reworks. “Always” comes courtesy of the Australian-hailing band Panama via the fellow Aussie label Future Classic—an imprint Classixx have previously released on. Turning the track from an indie song-along to a dance-worthy head bobber, Classixx return to their original roots with this bouncy remix. Incorporating sunny synths and house-oriented guitar bass plugs, the production pair made up of Tyler Blake and Michael David give listeners summertime grooves just before the cool Fall air encroaches.
