The Magician unveiled his debut release on Parlophone Records back in early September. Now, a little over a month later, the magic man has returned to showcase “When The Night Is Over” as an entire EP. The original track is featured alongside four remixes and dub cut, available on Beatport as of October 14.

Fans heard the first rework from the When The Night Is Over EP in September as well, when Bromance Records label head Brodinski took a darker tech-oriented approach to the tune. Slowing down the tempo and turning up the bass thumps, Brodinski gave listeners a rendition completely different from the original. Now with three more official remixes out, The Magician lets three lesser knowns work their own magic on track. First comes a rework by the London-hailing Clancy, which trades in the electro-appeal of the original for the deeper sounds of house music. The melodic sprawling rendition is followed by Claptone‘s more upbeat jazz-inspired house remix. The Berlin-base producer pitches down the vocals on his version, letting silky piano chords and drum kicks take the lead. Finishing out the 6-track EP, Ejeca, an Ireland-native, cuts the vocals to close the remix package with techno-leaning production. Giving listeners a plethora of house renditions veering from electro to tech and deep house, the When The Night Is Over EP proves to be a quailty showing for The Magician’s first Parlophone extended release.
