Producer and DJ Jonas Fehr has come to us this Thursday along with the EPIC 2.0 tour to make our day a little more inspired. Also known as Fehrplay, Fehr will join the tour along with Eric Prydz and Jeremy Olander to anniversary the highly anticipated New York show at Hammerstein Ballroom that’s now expanded to both LA and Chicago. And today he’s given us a little throwback to enjoy: a playlist of the tracks that have personally inspired him the most as a musician. Growing up in the very tightly knit production scene in Norway, his dreams of earning a degree in music quickly turned him into a doer, one who realized that success in the electronic music scene is earned through gigs and making sure his unique style of emotional, symphonic music with a tech edge was heard and not just seen. His sprawling music taste has translated into a mature, refined, dark and soulful production resume. One that is of course, the reason that he is so favored by the label Pryda & Friends. Fresh off of his recent surprisingly stripped back funk-inspired take on Lemaitre’s “Continuum,” Fehrplay will release his next track, “Indigo” on October 21st. So sit back, relax and enjoy the musical anecdotes from Fehrplay’s life, and don’t forget to get your tickets to EPIC 2.0 HERE.

Pryda – “Aftermath”
This was the first Pryda track I ever heard. It blew me away. Never heard a track progress in such a way before.

Axwell – “Jetlag”
The good old funky house style of Axwell’s Jetlag was above everything else in production quality. Absolutely loved this track.
Jamiroquai – “Little L”
Always been a huge fan of Jamiroquai, and this was one of the greatest all time summer tunes for me. So funky, and an incredible production.

Phoenix – “If I Ever Feel Better”
Classic track from the french indie electro band Phoenix. Such a good feeling vibe to this.

Michael Jackson – “They Don’t Care About Us”
Michael is and has always been my biggest inspiration in music. “They Don’t Care About Us” is one of the simpler Michael tracks, but still genius, noteworthy, and he did all the production on this track him self!
