English born Rob Orme, now hailing from Tokyo, has released a mix exclusively with Vice media. The long time Japan resident has evolved far from his garage roots, matured by his own style where he layers snippets from anime music with ambient and rap under the artist name of Submerse. Just recently he released an EP titled Mekonkoly with Project Mooncircle, in addition to being very active with the Japanese record company Maltine Records.

Submerse has been famous for consistently beautiful arranged mixes, and, with such a sentimental sincere touch, you feel everything that he does. This mix in particular demonstrates his well-rounded approcah, as signature tracks from Submerse mix with hip hop to fill the air with heavenly vocal layers and reverb effects. Even EARMILK favorite Iamnobodi comes out to play, but balances with the peaceful and calming tunes from Submerse’s ever so majestic vault.
