Whenever you need a trip down memory lane, probably past any recognizable date for this generation of 20-somethings, look to Vito de Luca, better known as Aeroplane. One of Belgium’s treasures, the disco-loving artist never ceases to impress with his seductive tracks that bring crowds flocking to the dancefloor. Today he lends a hand to remix Kris Menace‘s “Nite4U, filling it with staccato piano chords and layered percussion lines that harken back to the 70s underground. The late Romanthony’s vocals remind me of Sam Sparro’s smooth and soulful voice: part whisper, yet still somehow crisp and clear.  You’ll find this track on the Features Remixed compilation album, including other notable contributions by Oliver, Douze, and Com Truise. Catch Aeroplane on the last three dates of his mini-U.S. tour in Santa Ana, Denver, and Woodbury
