Aussie Geoffrey O’Connor first made waves as the frontman for euphoric pop group Crayon Fields, but has also stepped out as a solo artist on his 2011 album Vanity Is Forever. On his latest single “Jacqueline,” O’Connor displays his trademark synth power balladry as he reminisces over his lost love interest. While the tune is certainly good on its own, fellow countrymen (apologies to Sebastian and Yves) Clubfeet wanted their crack at the track. On the Clubfeet remix, “Jacqueline” is more bass centric giving it a classic 80s club vibe. Along with this, a few key samples from O’Connor’s ballad are taken and interspersed throughout the track thereby transforming his voice into an atmospheric element for the purpose of the tune.

My advice to you – find that hottie with a body using the remix and seal the deal with the original. All you NYC people should have a leg up. O’Connor will be playing some yet-to-be announced dates near you. Stay tuned and good luck.
