These are the mashes that are worth hearing, so stop your searching and instead settle down at your computer… turn up your speakers… and get ready for that sweet nectar that only EARMILK can give ya. Let’s GO!

It’s Labor Day, and you’re all probably coming back from the lake (as I currently have), the pool, the beach, park, somewhere where you could kick back relax and enjoy the non-work/non-school day. Unfortunately that also means you’re back at home getting ready for tomorrow, and what better way than to prepare with another installment of Mashup Monday? So scroll down below for 12 mashups that include the likes of Ken LoiHurricane Andy, DJ Topsider, and others.

There seems to be more mashups leaning towards the EDM-styled mashups, and this is probably most illustrated by Loi’s “Tundra Matters” as it’s a prototypical club banger. With a moderately intro build that leads into vocal serenity, Loi uses his vast experience as a DJ to really draw us in second by second, until 2 minutes we’re thrown into an EDM frenzy. If you’re looking to throw that perfect house/rave party, then look no further than this worthwhile mash.

If you’re looking for a mash that is seemingly more intricate, then take a peep at Frail Limb Purity‘s and Colatron‘s “Videooah Games” as they take the lovely Lana Del Rey and spice her up with Ooah‘s “Whilst You’re Away I Wait, To Crumble In Your Arms” and additional vocal glitching. I’ve come to respect F.L.P’s ability to glitch the hell out of vocals, and more importantly, do it well, and this track is no different. It adds an element of liveliness to Lana, who has been criticized for having a, at times, monotonous vocal flow.

While I’m only detailing two songs in particular for this week, other recommendations are The Early Mourning‘s “Legion” (Taking Back Sunday is a nice touch over Skrillex production), DJ Topsider‘s “Awesome” (not a huge Timeflies fan, but I could handle the amount provided by Topsider), and Hurricane Andy‘s “iRok a Flashbang”. Of course, plenty more mashups are awaiting you below, so get to listening and have a great rest of the week.
