After breakthrough tracks like “Wasting My Young Years” and scoring a feature on electronic behemoth Disclosure‘s album, British trio London Grammar have created the optimal buzz surrounding their first full length release. With a masterful vocalist like Hannah Reid spearheading the group’s impassioned melodies, it’s easy to see why. Unlike it’s predecessor “Strong,” the latest single features no emotional climax or soaring vocals that we have grown accustomed to; nonetheless, “Interlude” retains equal bone-chilling poignance. Wispy guitar riffs and subdued percussion accompany Reid’s haunting tone alongside soft keys, a staple of the group’s sound.
