It almost feels like Deadmau5 has been playing a little bit of a game with his followers recently. Posting 30 second and 1 minute long clips of what might just be experimentation, or could possibly be future releases, he continually piques our interest with his posts. And over the past few weeks, the full length tracks he’s been posting have been increasingly more frequent. Yesterday he posted a few previews, but two tracks entitled “All I Had” and “All I Have” especially caught my ear. Both tracks have a laid back, progressive trance sound to them, but “All I Had” has the techier touch that we know Deadmau5 for. “All I Have” has a bit more melody and emotion, reminiscent of the work he’s done in the past with artists like Kaskade on tracks like “Move for Me.” After his split with fiance Kat Von D,the man known in his personal life as Joel Zimmerman declared himself that his focuses would return to his music.

Maybe these titles are referring to working through personal issues or his own impending artistic growth from them, maybe not, but the tracks are interesting and it will be even more interesting to see what comes to fruition as “official” releases.
