With the rise in popularity of hip-hop’s diverse sub-genres, a lot of people tend to forget its core values, such as its humble beginnings and the importance that graffiti culture had on the scene. While many of today’s rappers get caught up with the hype of womanizing and drug consumption, DXA, the four man crew composed of DFace, Calamity, Chris, & Doam Piece, is proof that the music takes precedence above everything.

Their latest video, “All the MC’s” is a throwback to these simpler times with it’s breezy, New York boom-bap vibes (and a cool sample from A Tribe Called Quest‘s “God Lives Through”). Peep the video down below, pick up the track, and party like it’s 1993.
