The song’s rhythm is shaped by looping tribal drums and an eerie bass twang, and the addition of sultry, echoed vocals may be a familiar formula to deep house heads. Still, the back and forth dialogue between man and piano sets a soulful mood for the breakdown. Chorus turns into full gospel, and what was once a summer chillout tune drops into a downright haunting club smasher.
