We’ve been blessed with Madlib’s rhyming alter-ego Quasimoto a.k.a Lord Quas presence today as he has released a music video for his Yessir Whatever single “Catchin’ The Vibe.” Although his releases come few and far in between, this video makes up for lost time as it captures the travels of a trash-covered creature as it gathers junk to his home at the dump.
The visuals were primarily shot in Finland and Romania, using local actors, directed by Tuomas Vauhkonen & Jeremias Nieminen. It was originally set out to film the video in California but the directors were denied filming permits. Yessir Whatever is out now, get it via Stones Throw.
