With a flow as diverse as the beats that switch up behind it- from Paul Wall’s “Chunk up the Deuce”, to Kanye West’s “Everything I Am” and then back to the 90’s with “No Scrubs” – Part 2 of the Seattle/New York raised rapper Sam Lachow’s “80 bars” series is a sound introduction to an MC that, until yesterday, I was misguidedly unaware of. Lachow definitely cuts a relatable figure as he raps an insight into his own personal nostalgia; lines like ‘What’s a Charmander to a Blastoise?’ over a few old school gems are never likely render disappointing results.
