It seems as though there must be a mistake with Birmingham-based indie rockers, Swim Deep, appearing in the EDM section but South London Ordnance has completely flipped this one around. South London Ordnance is a man shrouded in mystery refusing to let his real name be printed anywhere but one thing that isn’t left in the dark is his talent as not only a DJ but a producer. There are many great DJs but some struggle to produce remixes or originals that are gripping or at least interesting, however, South London Ordnance does not fall into this category having his various records being played by everyone from Jamie XX to Mosca and Scuba.

The original is a slow, melancholy indie anthem with vibes similar to that of The Drums but once SLO is done with this one it is transformed into an upbeat, aquatic feeling number with muffled vocals and liquid smooth synths. This remix has a strong, house backing that can not be neglected and plays an integral part in the modification of this song from a good indie tune to a house banger. No longer a song for acne-infested teenagers to brood about in an indie straw hat but a song to move to in a dark, grimy club.
