It’s been a couple of months since I first heard Chester Watson on Zane Lowe‘s Radio 1 show whilst driving home, but since that day he’s put out a solid foundation of new music to satisfy his fans. This new release “Samurai” sees Chester team up with fellow Nu Age Syndicate member Comme over a typically trippy beat that was produced by Chester himself. “Samurai” sees both Watson and Comme glide across this laid back beat, spitting their lyrics with consummate ease which both compliment the pace of the instrumental. This is definitely a track you can sit back and chill to, and I’m looking forward to more tracks from both of these young emcees.

Both Watson and Comme have an impressive collection of tracks across both of their Soundclouds (you can find the links below), and are definitely worth checking out. Having recently announced a show in London, England, as well as gaining new fans every day, it’s easy to see how Chester Watson’s path into the spotlight is coming together. You can get your tickets for his show at Birthdays in London HERE. Chester Watson’s Phantom mixtape is available to download from DatPiff.
