About DMb
Dance Music blog (DMb) is simply a blog written for dance music fans, by dance musc fans. We try to cover all types of electronic music, but our favourites will always get written about more often!
We love to hear tracks and mixes from new and established DJs, so if you’ve found something that needs to be shared, you damn well better send it to us at dancemusicblog@googlemail.com.
If you are a DJ or producer with a few tracks to show off - let us know and we’ll see what the world of dance music thinks of them! Guest writers are also more than welcome should you have something to say but nowhere to say it.

ROC – Sink A Bite Into Life [DJ Tempest Remix]
Â
“Dream on, it’s a long life”
Liverpool’s DJ Tempest (Passage/Weatherall) gives ROC’s “Sink A Bite Into Life” the full summer anthem treatment. Rising heavy like a thunderstorm over the dancefloor, this is big, brash and built for for booming systems:

I am writing on behalf of myself because i can’t afford to hire a publicist, but I do the album covers and stage visuals for Girl Talk (and one album cover for Drop The Lime). I’m starting a living cartoon character that will produce house and techno for the purpose of Voguing and throwing Shade. This will take place in NY - Kenny Kenny will be booking Bad Brilliance for at least one performance once he sees a photo of the costume together (is what he told me). The Album - currently in the works - RED CARPET TO NOWHERE (possible release on trouble & bass) is based on my experience doing the graveyard shift naming all of New York’s socialites and celebrities for photographer Patrick McMullan (i make the flyers for his Gay monday night parties and had to retouch oprah’s hands for one of his books).

Hi there!
There weren’t any contact details for you so this was the only way to get hold of you. I’m writing from Fat! Records, if you’re into breakbeat then I’m sure you’ve heard of us.
We’re frequently finding more bloggers to write reviews for our releases, and would like to add you onto our mailing list. Even if you’re not into Breaks, our future releases are going to be much more broad. If you are interested in doing some reviews for us, then please email me to my Fat! email which is label@thefatclub.com. Get in touch.
Thanks,
Antonia

Hello,
My name is Tyler Duncan, and I represent the band My Dear Disco.
Like many of the emails you get, I’m emailing because I’d love to get
a write up on the band. I know how busy you guys are and really
appreciate that you’ve even read this far, so I’ll keep this short.
Based in Ann Arbor Michigan, they play a type of music they call,
“DanceThink Music.” I’ve booked and seen a lot of bands, and there’s
no other way to say it — these guys are truly fantastic.
The line-up features a 2-time International Acoustic Music Award
winning composer, a 3-time World Champion instrumentalist, a 1st place
Michigan Idol winning singer, and two 1st place M-Block Records “New
Music on the Block” winning recording artists.
Give the song “White Lies” a fair shake, and if you don’t like it,
don’t waste another second of your time.
White Lies is the first song on the myspace
(www.myspace.com/mydeardisco) and on the website
(www.mydeardisco.com).
I’d be happy to send an actual cd if you’d like.
Thank you very much for your time -
–
